Jo Frost is a qualified and experienced psychotherapist who welcomes individuals or couples self-referring to her practise, which is based at her home, just outside the New Forest National Park.
Jo also accepts referrals from GP’s, psychologists and other health professionals with regards to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health problems.
Clients can choose to come for face-to-face sessions, meet via skype/FaceTime, or talk over the telephone.
I aim to provide a non-judgemental, warm and safe environment in which individuals or couples can explore their issues – working with clients on a short term or long term basis, providing therapy based on the integrative approach in a way that best suits that persons needs and aims.
Jo is experienced in working with issues that include depression or low mood, low self esteem, lack of assertiveness, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, intrusive or repetitive thoughts, compulsive/repetitive behaviours, relationship difficulties, phobias, bereavement and loss and trauma.
I can work face-to-face, via skype/facetime, or by telephone with both individuals and couples. I am based at Burgate, on the western edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, around five minutes drive from the town of Fordingbridge and around 15 from the city of Salisbury.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are generally held weekly. I work flexible hours and so can accommodate those requiring appointments before or after work, as well as during the day (from 7.00am – 8.00pm, Monday – Friday). Some weekend appointments are also available.
My therapy sessions with Jo Frost helped me gain a more positive outlook and consequently made me a much happier person. I found Jo to be very genuine in her desire to help through a very difficult period in my life.Michael, Hertfordshire
I was both cynical and sceptical about counselling until I was persuaded to try it following a separation and bereavement. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Jo very quickly led me to understand the cause and nature of my problems which allowed me to overcome them.James, London
